Since starting out in the construction industry, I have worked on a wide range of projects all of different scopes and complexity. Many aspects of construction I’ve seen over the years on new developments are disappointing and poor quality. No attention to detail, rushed and poorly managed.

I wanted to change this. When working on projects for clients or myself having a clear vision from the start is always paramount. Secondly working with an experienced, hardworking team who aligns with my values and vision is equally important.

Property Four

Property one

This property needed a light refurbishment.

The work that was carried out consisted of:

  • New internal doors,

  • Redecorating the whole property,(ceiling and walls)

  • Installing a new toilet and sink in the bathroom, removing tiles on the floor then pouring self levelling compound ready for vinyl.

  • New flooring was installed throughout.


Property Two

This property needed a medium sized refurbishment.

The work that was carried out consisted of:

  • New internal doors & ironmongery

  • Removal of all wallpaper

  • Plastering throughout

  • Decorated throughout

  • New bathroom

  • New flooring throughout

  • New worktop in kitchen

  • Garden to be cleared

  • Small electrical work (couple of spotlights added, new fuse board)

Property three

This property is to date my largest project. Originally a semi-commercial building which held a barber shop on the ground floor with a flat above over two floors. I acquired planning permission to convert this building into two flats. A one bedroom on the ground floor and a two bedroom on the first and second floor.

This project was a big learning curve, facing many challenges throughout.

Client work

I was approached by the client who is based in the Middle East who had purchased a property in Hertfordshire which needed a complete refurbishment. I was instructed as project manager to oversee all work from demolition through to completion. Communication was key on this project, regular Zoom meeting and weekly updates helped the job progress with minimal issues. This project started at the beginning of Covid19 pandemic which created a number of challenges such as lack of materials, labour shortage and health and safety of all contractors on site.


Bespoke bedroom refurbishment

I was instructed to completely refurbish this bedroom.

The work that was carried out consisted of:

  • New plasterboard and plaster over the ceiling

  • Remove all carpet and replace with new

  • Removal of old fitted wardrobes, installing new bespoke joinery with fitted desk

  • New painting and decorating

  • New electrics

  • New modern radiator fitted


Purchase and refurbishment of three bedroom semi-detached house

In February 2023 I purchased a three bedroom semi-detached property at auction. After collecting the keys 8 weeks later I project managed a four-month full refurbishment of the property. On my YouTube channel you can see a before and after video with details of cost and further detail on challenges and finish.

The work that was carried out consisted of:

  • Removal of old internal cladding throughout the entire property/ bathroom/kitchen/flooring

  • New plasterboard and plaster over the entire property

  • New painting and decorating

  • New electrics

  • New plumbing system

  • New kitchen

  • New flooring

  • New fencing
